As you can see from its scores the Monster 88 Ti is a fine All Mountain ski and a new model in Head's collection for the 2015-16 winter season.

We found the ski to be very responsive, encouraging you to go for it in any conditions; despite being a fairly wide ski it was very good on the piste, carving well at high and low speeds and in long and short radius turns, and proving exceptionally smooth.

Away from the piste it was able to bash through crud (although really heavy snow threw us off course once or twice) and had reasonable float in powder.

They feel solid when you pick them up and when you put them on your feet - this is partly due to the Graphene material that was introduced last season in the women's 'Joy' range. It's the lightest, strongest material on the planet and in the case of the Monster 88, it certainly seems to have helped produce a very light and strong ski.

In summary, we found the Monster to be a ski that likes to be pushed hard, and when it is pushed, it will reward you with a responsive, fun ride all over the mountain.

They would suit a strong skier who likes to work fast and play hard, all over the mountain.
