All mountain skis have a tough job to do - as the name suggests they need to be able to hit it in most conditions and come out the other side smiling.
Well the Panic made us smile - sure, it didn't get the highest of scores when taken off-piste, but there will always be a compromise somewhere with an all mountain ski. It certainly wasn't a disaster off piste, it just needed a bit of coaxing through the deeper stuff.
Elsewhere the Panic was a pleasure to ride, especially at high speed on piste where edge hold and carving turns were handled with ease.
Add to this decent looks and very good value for money and this is an all mountain ski you should check out if you veer more towards piste than powder.
