With Lashings of upmarket style, the Schoffel Maribor down jacket is made as much for strolling the streets of the ski resort as it is for life up on the piste.

The silhouette is a classic hourglass fit with a short hem, showing that skiing doesn't have to be all about plasticky, boxy unflattering jackets.

Being designed primarily for looks, comfort, and warmth the Maribor comes with a deep fill of plump down and comes out at fairly hefty 1400g in weight.

The jacket is really warm, so it's best used for light cruisey skiing duties or particularly cold weather. Of course, Schoffel uses premium materials, so the Maribor offers a water column of 20,000mm and breathability of 20,000 MVTR. The zips however are not water sealed and we're not sure whether the jacket features seam sealing. A further hint at the casual intent of the Maribor Down Jacket is the removable powder skirt which gives the Maribor promise as a versatile everyday wear jacket.

The hood gives good coverage and protection to the head and is 3-way adjustable. The faux fur trim is removable if that doesn't suit your style and the entire hood removes very easily to give the jacket versatility in its look. Storage is plentiful from the range of hand and internal pockets as well as a lift pass pocket on the sleeve, great for both skiing and for chilling in town. Zips and pullers are all a high lustre metallic finish, completing the look of this stylish piste/casual ski jacket.
