Simple and effective design, great looks

You’ll see the Rab Microlight being worn by discerning mountain types all over the place, and with good reason - it’s lightweight, warm, easily stowable and it looks great.

Weighing in at just 445g and featuring 750-fill hydrophobic European goose down, the Microlight is also very versatile; you can use it as an outer layer or inner layer and if you’re not wearing it you can easily stuff it in your pack (the chest pocket doubles as a stuff sac) in case it gets cold, for long chairlift rides or for lunch breaks on the mountain.

The narrow baffles minimise down ‘migration’ and give optimum loft, and the wired peak hood further adds to the warmth factor. You get three decent sized zipped pockets, a weather resistant Pertex outer, a nice range of colourways and without a doubt this is one really nice piece of kit for pretty much any alpine activity.
