If you're looking for a reasonably priced shell jacket the Sapi is a good bet. Whilst not the lightest of shells due to its mesh lining and relatively heavy outer fabric, it is waterproof, windproof and breathable and all the seams are taped, and it comes with a decent range of features.
Amongst these are an ergonomic cut, two-way front zip , adjustable/detachable hood, three zipped outer pockets and a large mesh inner pocket, powder skirt and pit zips, which is pretty much all you need in a ski jacket.
If weight and stowability are not important to you and budget is, then the Sapi is worth checking out.
