The Gnu Carbon Credit brings Mervin Manufacturing’s cutting edge technologies to an entry level board. The Banana Rocker gives a fun, playful feel but isn't too extreme, the tip and tail are still flat enough to provide stability without sacrificing float in powder. The true twin shape and centred sidecut make this board great as a beginner’s park board whilst the interesting 'Magne-Traction' sidecut with seven bumps along the edge works really well on the piste providing good grip and turn initiation. The wood core and bi-axial glass inserts make for a nice progressive flex pattern which isn't too stiff so can be ridden with the minimum of aggression. The extruded base is low maintenance, hassle free and is durable enough to survive quite a few knocks.
