The Media Blitz has been designed and created for Torstein Horgmo and is therefore a fairly stiff and powerful snowboard. When you consider that he's doing triple corks on this thing you understand why it's so aggressive.
That being said, it's incredibly fun to ride and very stable at high speeds. Because it's downsizable, our 6ft and 90kg tester rode the 150cm board and could go as fast as he liked and this board had almost no chatter. The base is amazingly quick and experienced riders who like smaller, stiffer and aggressive snowboards will love leaping onto park features with the Media Blitz.
Because of the smaller size the board we rode was really playful and DC's traditional camber is quite mellow but retains tons of pop. The Media Blitz holds an edge and carves like a knife. The 6 inches of powder we dipped in and out of was really fun on this board too.
If you're a more experienced rider and love powering through every feature, be it in the park or on the side of the piste, then this is a fantastic choice and one of the best boards for hitting jumps we've ridden.
