This year Capita have taken one of their bestselling and most loved snowboards, the DOA and supercharged it with amped up tech to give it new purpose.
The super DOA has a multi-camber true twin set up which offers a poppy ride thanks to elements of camber and plenty of high end tech inside. We also rated it 10/10 for responsiveness, this snowboard is almost telepathic in its abilities to respond to rider input. If you're regularly hitting the park you'll be pleased to know that the Super DOA is massively stable in landings and the forgiving flex is soft enough for rails but gives as good as it gets when you load it up thanks to the excellent 3D Hover Core. Kevlar bound sidewalls also help make sure this board lasts.
Powering through crud on the pistes is surprisingly pleasant considering the boards flex, no doubt in part thanks to the carefully considered blend of materials and tech. On good pistes the Super DOA holds an edge well in medium speed carves but washes out a bit if you push it on high speed, ice prone slopes - which to be fair are difficult conditions for any snowboard.
The original DOA has been a quiver killer seasonnaires favourite since its inception in 2012, the Super adds more pop, less weight and a generally harder charging feel despite still having a very forgiving and playful flex, altogether making it our top choice for 2020.
