While most brands have been experimenting with Rocker technology, Bataleon have stood behind their TBT, or Triple Base Technology because it just works so well. They are known for high performance freestyle boards with seriously eye-catching graphics. The Distortia is their most freestyle driven board and stood out on test as one of the best in class.

The Bataleon Distortia is a park-driven board that excels when you point it toward any obstacle in your path. Not only is it seriously good for freestyle progression but we found it to handle exceptionally well as a piste and carving board. When you give it the room to really open up on the groomers the Distortia goes up a gear in terms of handling.

It holds and holds an edge when you're going flat out and once you've learned to trust the triple base you can really notice the benefits.

This board would suit a rider whose focus is really freestyle, but having said that it also works as a great all-mountain board that is easy to handle without having to be 100 percent on your game the whole time.
