Put the power down and go!
Stiffer than expected tail

Carved out of a design philosophy trickled down from Rossignol's race team the Hero Elite ST earns every bit of its rather high price tag by incorporating these technologies into a ski for mere mortals.

This is a narrow waisted, turn on a penny type of ski that is meant to be skied hard and fast where it is stable and precise, if that's not your bag then we wouldn't recommend this ski for you. Having said that it will happily amble along the pistes without chewing you up and spitting you out, it just takes a certain level of rider to tame.

Edge hold through short and long turns is exceptional, as you might expect. Short radius turns is where the Hero Elite ST really shines, our tester commented on long radius turns not being quite so accomplished as they could be but this is coming from a championship winning slalom skier.

This is a stiff ski overall and the tail is stiffer than expected which adds to the pzazz, but this makes it unforgiving if caught backseat.
