The Hell & Back scored highly in our test and therefore comes in at a respectable third in the all mountain category.
On-piste it impressed with its fantastic edge hold and stability at higher speeds. It’s also a very responsive ski, happy in both long and short radius turns. At times they feel almost like a full on race ski, unusual for something in the all mountain category.
Heading into deeper snow, they perform well too, but it’s not the easiest to handle and although very competent off-piste skiers will find them fun to turn on, less experienced skiers might find them a little tricky to master.
Conclusion, an excellent ski that would suit an instructor level skier looking for performance across the whole mountain.
