Nordica haven’t tried to rewrite the rule book with the female specific drive choosing instead to stick with tried and tested design and construction methods.
They have built in a partial sidewall for grip and stability whilst the sidecut radius is circular and focused solely in one area of the ski as opposed to the multitude of radii seen on many of today’s more adventurous designs.
The built in bindings are designed to help transfer power to the edges more easily which together with a 13.5m turn radius provide this ski with an easy going nature. The flex pattern is also circular along the length of the ski meaning that the energy and response is progressive and predictable.
This ski is no highly taut racer or backcountry dominator but for the average recreational piste skier looking to enjoy their time on the slopes without too much drama it could be an excellent purchase.
