The Head Rev 90 is labelled as a freeride ski for expert skiers - but their easy-turning ability makes them suitable for good skiers who might be considering buying for the first time after a period of renting.
One of our reviewers commented: 'They are great on-piste but felt a little stiff in the moguls. They handled chopped up snow really well though and I'd imagine they would perform great in powder.'
As a ski in the all-mountain category, this managed one of the highest scores in our test of over 100 models. It has enough power to carve long radius, high speed turns, on groomed slopes whilst managing to respond quickly to short turns, which 'felt dynamic and lively', according to our tester.
A further comment concluded: 'These would make an excellent instructor ski as they manage everything required to teach up to an advanced level really well without being hard to turn at lower speeds.'
