The Viva S5 from established Austrian ski manufacturer, Blizzard, feature lighter softer construction and are built for reassuring performance with a touch of rocker helping to ease the transitions and absorb shock.

They felt responsive and light in slower, shorter turns but were harder to manage at speed. They are designed for recreational skiers that require something soft, forgiving and hand-holding but can also deliver solid turns and control that provide excellent grip on hard packed snow.

Although a good recreational ski and an ideal option for beginners we felt these skis would quickly reach their limit for more advanced skiers wishing to progress to faster carving turns.
