The new Alight 74Ti from Blizzard Skis are high-end piste performance machines specifically for women who like to rip around the pistes at all speeds.
Their versatility from flatter runs to steeper pitches is impressive, with the ability to handle the changes with ease. The solid edge hold is grippy and reliable, even on the hardest snowpack - they really are fun to turn on-piste and perform up the highest levels when pushed hard too. We feel the only slight downside is at the highest speeds on piste when their stability comes into question - but if you're going that fast, get a race ski and join a club.
For both short and long radius turns they give back in spades - light and super responsive, they nimble from one turn to the next and seem to love every second of it. They make skiing easy and although suited to expert skiers (instructors, former racers), they are perfectly capable of looking after less technically able riders too.
Good value for money for skis of this quality - would suit recreational women skiers looking to improve their carve turns on-piste right up to technically proficient experts looking for performance.
Good looking skis and fun to ride - all you could ask for on piste.
