Although this is a shell made from three-layer Gore-tex fabric the inside has a brushed finish so you can wear them against bare skin in warmer conditions - in fact for spring time ski touring the Spirit would be ideal.
The cut is very slim - I wore a Large pair but my legs felt restricted, so look at going up a size - and features are quite minimal to keep the weight down. Indeed, even the removal braces are slimmed down.
So, you get two zipped hand pockets and a zipped rear pocket, a full length outer zip for easy on/off with boots (all zips are waterproof), adjustable gaiters and a decent sized scuff guard. I especially liked the ergonomic cut on the knees, and whilst slimfit ski pants are not my thing if you like that style you ought to check out the Spirit, especially if you plan on a bit of touring.
