The Odlo Evolution Warm is a technical base layer from Norwegian baselayer maestros Odlo, designed for high intensity sports such as skiing, running, climbing, and cycling in cold environments.
The Evolution feels different to other baselayers we've tested. This is down to the body mapping which provides venting zones, strategically placed to offer additional ventilation to areas that run warmest on the body as well as zones that offer extra thermal protection in areas that typically run colder.
Fit is very tight as is normal for a sporty baselayer and the material is polyester rather than a merino/polyester mix. This offers rapid drying times - a vital element when you're likely to be sweating a lot.
For general recreational skiing or snowboarding this baselayer is possibly a little overkill but if you're into XC Skiing, are at the more extreme end of the ski or snowboard spectrum or you're looking for something that you can also use for running, biking and the like then the Revolution Warm is certainly worth a look.
