Designed for low to extremely low temperatures, the Falke three-quarter length tights feel lovely against the skin and hug your legs snugly yet still have lot of stretch.
The combination of seamless technology and temperature regulating plush inner material is what makes them so comfy; add to that a two-ply construction for fast moisture wicking and you’re in business.
The tights have’ targeted’ insulation zones – in other words areas that feel the cold more have more insulation. The claimed ‘loose fit’ wasn’t as loose as I would have expected but I didn’t find that a problem thanks to the elasticity of the fabric.
And if you’re worried you’re being short changed by only getting three-quarters of a pair of tights for your money, fret not. Personally this is my favourite design for tights since it saves issue of rucking up that sometimes occur with full length tights (which can get extremely uncomfortable when jammed up against ski boots), and your lower legs are unlikely to feel cold with the combination of long ski socks and ski boots providing plenty of insulation.
