Cab9 were started by a group of passionate seasonaires out of Meribel who know about the rigours of working 'in the snow, at the beach or on the street' (poor things!) all day long. We can only imagine their goggle tans. Seriously though, what better test bed for your own products than these harsh conditions?
The Edge is the culmination of their tentative launch years and that harnessed experience, with all the tech you would expect along with a dash of sartorial splendour.
We love the frame - it's lightweight (all in the the Edge weighs only 25g) and the arms are bendy so they should be safe in even the most cumbersome of hands. They're also equipped with rubber grab rails which are comfortable, grip the head and make handling in tricky conditions a little less fumblesome. Even the front of the frame is bendy, not ridiculously so, just enough so that they contour to your head shape and have a little bit of give.
Of course, being snow friendly the Edge sunglasses have polarised lenses which helps reduce glare from snow on those lovely bluebird days. They offer full UV protection and make colours pop, visibility is great with them on in both bright and low light conditions. We've also found them pretty smudge proof and they haven't scratched yet despite our less than cautious approach to handling.
Overall these semi wrap around style sunglasses from Cab9 are on point - they protect your eyes in the snow and look good while doing it, they also cost a damn sight less than other leading brands so go buy them now.
