More than 200 of the world’s top winter sport athletes have gathered in Buttermilk Mountain, Aspen, Colorado for the start of the 2015 Winter X Games, which will run from the early hours of Thursday (UK time) to Sunday January 25th.
First up will be coverage of the Women's Ski SuperPipe Final, which will happen when most UK fans are still in their beds, but if you’re not willing to stay up or get up, the action is also available on demand at more civilised times via the live streaming service ESPN.
The first full day of competition starts on Thursday from 7pm GMT, with full coverage of events such as the Ski Slopestyle Men's Elimination, Men's Snowboard SuperPipe Elimination, and the Snowmobile Freestyle Final. Every event will also be available on demand, allowing fans to watch the action at a time that suits them.
With over 100 Olympic big names taking part, the games will showcase the great and good of winter sports, including… Sage Kotsenburg, Kelly Clark, Jamie Anderson, Joss Christensen, David Wise, Maddie Bowman and Dara Howell, who will all vie for X Games gold and prize money.
This will include British Olympic men’s skier James Woods, who will be hoping to add to the bronze he won in the Men’s Ski Slopestyle at the Aspen Winter X Games 2013.
Fans can watch all the Winter X Games, Aspen 2015 action live and on demand on ESPN Player. The ESPN Player X Games Week Pass (£4.99) will give viewers access to dedicated feeds across the five days of the event, including some of the great music line-up.
