It’s that time of year again when resorts are beginning to open and we’re all praying for snow to make the most of some early skiing and boarding opportunities. So far this season, Mother Nature seems to be in a good mood......

Verbier Tweeted some great winter wonderland images of the resort. Some lifts are open at weekends already, and the main ski area is due to open on December 4th.
Mayrhofen is due to begin opening its lifts on December 2nd and teased us today with this spectacular mountain view.
Swiss and Italian resorts are not to be forgotten and have also been benefiting from early snow flurries. Zermatt, Switzerland, was looking stunning on Sunday and already has some of its lifts and 25km of piste open for business.
Italian resort, Madonna di Campiglio welcomed back the snow this week with this atmospheric snap and will be opening its pistes to skiers and boarders very soon.
