Mountaineer and adventurer Squash Falconer is raising money for charity Wings of Kilimanjaro, by teaming up with Italy’s Aosta Valley in an online charity auction. Up for grabs are three great holidays to the beautiful mountain region – one of which includes ski passes too.
The three prizes are for one-week stays, half-board, at the Hotel Le Rocher, Champoluc (including a ski pass in winter), Hotel Jolanda Sport and the Hotel Dufour. This ambitious project will see adventurers from around the world climb Africa’s highest mountain, and paraglide from the top, setting a world record and raising more than $1million for Tanzanian charities in the process.
