Thomson, one of the UK's leading ski tour operators, has launched an expanded selection of resorts for the coming winter 2010-11 adding three new destinations to take their total offering to 83 resorts in nine countries across Europe and North America. Charter flights are available from 16 UK

airports.
The company, which is owned by TUI, which also runs top placed Crystal Ski as well as other leading players including First Choice, is offering 2013 World Alpine Skiing Championships venue Austria Schladming in Austria new this winter, with over 170km of piste is suitable for beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers.

The two other new choices are in Italy; Pragelato, a newly developed resort linked by a long gondola to Sestriere for the 2006 Winter Olympics providing access on to the extensive 'Milky Way' ski area with 400km of runs and itself providing a high standard of accommodation and facilities and Folgarida, an attractive purpose built resort with easy access to the ski area of Madonna di Campiglio.

The company is also expanding its childcare offers with 'Whizzclusive' childcare in eight resorts offering full day care for children from 3 or 4 - 11 years from £249. The package Includes six days morning ski school, drop off/pick up, lunch and afternoon care. There are also more Whizz Kids Club (children aged 4-11 years) in Scheffau, Austria; a new Pepi Penguin Club (children aged 6 months - 4 years) in La Plagne, France, and new Whizz Kids Club and Pepi Penguin Club in Niederau, Austria. There's also a new private Nanny Service now also available in chalets in Les Arcs and Thomson Platinum self catering apartments in selected resorts. Finally there's free helmet hire with all children's pre-booked skis and boots.
