Consistently popular, Swiss International Air Lines has again been voted best short-haul carrier, this time by a panel of more than 8,000 Which? members.
Topping the chart with a satisfaction rating of 76%, Swiss has got one of the clearest and most reasonable policies on ski carriage, meaning it’s long been a favourite with skiers and snowboarders travelling to Geneva or Zurich.
Second in the poll was Aer Lingus, with a satisfaction rating of 67%, while bottom was Thomas Cook Airlines with 37%, one percentage point lower than Ryanair, rated at just 38%.
The survey questioned 8,277 Which? members about their most recent return flight.
Rochelle Turner, head of research at Which? Travel, said: “The top-rated airlines all score highly for both the cost and value for money of the flight and most still include free hold luggage, plus onboard drinks and snacks in the ticket price – something clearly prized by travellers.”
That’s certainly the case with us here at Snow (or you'll find us on the train…).
