Snowbility’s ski and snowboard instructors provide tailor-made coaching for people with learning disabilities, autism, dyspraxia and deafness, giving people with different abilities the confidence to get out on the slopes. Since launching in 2011 the company has taught over 10,000 people to ski and snowboard, and believe that participation in sport can dramatically improve the lives and mental health of people with additional needs.
Currently based in the Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead, Hampshire, this year Snowbility are also launching lessons at the Snowdome in Tamworth in the West Midlands from August. Lessons for adults and children with special needs will be on offer daily year-round. Snowbility will also be announcing teaching sessions and holidays in the Alps with partner organisations, helping to open snowsports up to more people.
The official launch of Snowbility at the Snowdome in Tamworth will include Open Days on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd August 2018.
