SkiBro, the platform that allows users to compare and book instructors and adventures on demand is growing fast, now covering more resorts and boosting the range of products and experiences users can book, both in the Alps and in London.
SkiBro has also teamed up with Snow-Camp – the life-changing charity that helps to turn round young inner-city lives - by donating 10€ per booking made in December to Snow-Camp.
New Resorts
Following a successful first season last winter operating in Val d’Isere/Tignes and the 3 Valleys, SkiBro has expanded across more top resorts in France and Switzerland. Users can now also find and book their ideal ski lesson providers in Sainte Foy, Paradiski and the Portes du Soleil, in France, as well as Verbier and Zermatt in Switzerland, with more resorts due to come online during the course of this winter.
Having partnered exclusively with independent instructors last season, SkiBro has teamed up with 25 ski schools to offer more than 3,000 ski school experiences bookable at the touch of a button. Ski schools get the same treatment as instructors, including profile videos and client reviews so users can be sure they’re booking the school best suited to their needs or those of their kids.
Bucket List Experiences
Skiing may be the bread and butter pudding of most ski holidays, but SkiBro is also going to add an unforgettable cherry on top, launching brand new Bucket List experiences that skiers can share with their friends and family.
The first of these is the Cinematic Pack, which casts the client and their friends as the stars of their own ski movie. The Cinematic Pack teams some of SkiBro’s best instructors with a top-notch mountain cinematographer who tails the group - armed to the teeth with top of the range drones, gimbals, Go-Pros and more, documenting their day’s epic adventure in stunning high-definition, and delivering a professionally edited video afterwards.
The Cinematic Pack is available on demand in Val d’Isere/Tignes, Sainte Foy, Les Arcs, La Plagne and in the 3 Valleys. It costs €960 for a full day, inclusive of instructor, cinematographer, pre-production brief, all filming and equipment on the day and final edited video. Cinematic Pack profile video
How Snow-Camp changes lives
The charity uses snowsports to provide life skills, training, qualifications and experience to inner-city young people, giving them aspirations and avenues into employment, in the ski industry and beyond. Just €500 can fund one young person’s trip to the mountains and perhaps make the first step towards becoming a qualified instructor – maybe even with SkiBro in the future.
Matt Carr, SkiBro’s Head of Marketing says: ‘We're delighted to be teaming up with Snow-Camp whose work is extremely powerful. Many Snow-Camp graduates go on to become instructors and we hope to work with them at SkiBro in the future.’
Dan Keeley, Snowsports Community Manager at Snowcamp adds:
‘Snow-Camp have fast become one of the the UK’s most innovative charities harnessing the power of snowsports to turn young lives around. With partners as innovative, aspirational and forward-thinking as SkiBro supporting our vision, we couldn’t be better placed to change the lives of the thousands more inner-city young people for years to come. Thank you Team SkiBro.’
And there’s more…
In addition to the 14 resorts in the Alps, SkiBro has also partnered with Chel-Ski to offer instant-book private lessons in central London. There’s no better facility within the M25 to get used to the feeling of having skis or a snowboard on your feet or to blow away the cobwebs, brush off the dust and get mountain-ready in advance of a ski trip.
