Walking is the new skiing for this winter, with Ramblers Worldwide Holidays – the guided walking specialists – launching their first Winter Spirit programme dedicated solely to walking, snowshoeing, cross-country and downhill skiing and Christmas markets.
Highlights include snowshoeing in Andorra, a Balkan winter warmer in rural Serbia with winter walking and/or snowshoeing, and a one-week Italian cross-country skiing adventure in the Dolomites. Its offerings in the Austrian Tirol include cross-country skiing in the Stubai Valley and downhill skiing in Ried, with access to six skiing areas.
