Each day, from Monday to Friday, holidaymakers can meet ski instructors from the local ski schools at the bottom of the lift station in their resort at 9am. They will be guided through SkiWelt for the whole day. What better way to get insider knowledge, find out the local secrets and discover the best slopes, eateries and views on offer?
The day ends at one of the mountain huts. As part of the SkiWelt Party Weeks each hut will be offering something different, from trendy tunes to traditional folk music. To register for ski guiding, guests need to go at the local tourist board before 5pm the day before. This service is not available for beginner skiers.
From 16 – 23 March 2013, skiers can also get a 25 per cent discount on their SkiWelt holiday, including ski pass and accommodation, ski hire and ski school.
As Austria’s largest interconnecting ski area, the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental allows access to 279km of marked pistes. The slopes of the SkiWelt can be accessed by a system of 91 cable cars and lifts from the villages of Going, Ellmau, Scheffau, Söll, Itter, Hopfgarten, Westendorf, Kelschau and Brixen im Thale.
