Do the two biggest resorts of France’s Isere region have everything you need for the perfect ski holiday with friends?
Fly into to Grenoble Airport and take the easy transfer by shuttle bus, taxi, minibus, or even hire car, and let Les 2 Alpes and Alpe d'Huez take care of the rest. Take advantage of the regular flights, including weekdays, and spend a week or long weekend filled with friendship on the slopes and in the fresh air.
Board sports and partying in Les 2 Alpes
Renowned for being sporty, dynamic, and trendy, Les 2 Alpes welcomes everyone who enjoys board sports and partying.
Thanks to plenty of great offers throughout the season, you can enjoy the huge ski area in the spirit of freeride. You can leisurely ski down the slopes or try your hand at other activities like snowscoot.
Les 2 Alpes also has all the amenities that you need for your trip. You will find a huge selection of hotels, chalets and residences. Check out The People Hostel, a next-generation youth hostel that is excellent value for money.
There is also plenty of choice for going out and having fun as the resort has 70 restaurants, 25 bars, 3 nightclubs and dancefloors on the slopes! You are sure to enjoy the party atmosphere on the dancefloor in the Pano bar, the cocktails in Motown, the wine list and fine dining in Le Rouge et le Noir (which is open until 4am), the Woodstock atmosphere in L’Avalanche and the warm British welcome in Smithy's Tavern.
Après heaven in Alpe d’Huez
In Alpe d’Huez, the atmosphere is just as festive. The resort organises two particularly big festivals, attracting skiers from all over the world: Tomorrowland, celebrating electronic music, and the ‘Big BBQ Party’ in La Folie Douce.
After the success of the first edition, which attracted 25,000 festival-goers from 113 different countries, Tomorrowland Winter 2020 will take place from 14-22 March. La Folie Douce, a quirky and unmissable foodie and music venue, is an opportunity to come and dance and enjoy a drink on the slopes in April.
And there’s plenty more to enjoy - after a day spent exploring this incredible ski area or challenging yourself in the snow-park, the apres begins! Pop into one of the resort’s bars: L’Underground, the ‘place to be’ for its happy hour, live music, and screenings of sports matches; Smithy’s, where they combine fusion cooking with incredible DJ sets; and the O’bar, a cosy, friendly pub that serves cocktails.
For a great place to stay, book one of the VIP Chalets of the Hôtel Grandes Rousses, ideally located in the heart of the resort and at the foot of the slopes, to make the most of your holiday. So, combine comfort and pleasure and enjoy your holiday with friends in the most relaxed and happy way
