Where is the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn?
The Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn lies partly in the Austrian region of SalzburgerLand, south west of the city of Salzburg, and also extends on both sides of the valley over the mountains of the Glemmtal, where Fieberbrunn sit in the Tyrol region.
How to get to the Skicircus: Getting to Saalbach and Hinterglemm is easy via the nearest airports at Salzburg (1hr 30mins), Innsbruck (2hrs 20mins) and Munich (2hrs 30mins), while Leogang and Fieberbrunn are a bit closer. Airport to resort transfers and car rental can be easily booked online. For those wanting to get to the Skicircus by train, both Leogang and Fieberbrunn have train stations, meaning that getting here is a breeze.
The four villages all have their own character: Saalbach is one of Austria's most popular winter destinations; it's an attractive mountain village with great apres-ski and a host of well-groomed blue and red pistes. The Skicircus has pretty much every skiing need covered - it's great for beginners with gentle novice slopes and it's utterly brilliant for experts with some wild off-piste terrain around Fieberbrunn, especially, which is challenging enough to host the Freeride World Tour. In between, you've got mile after mile of cruisey blues and reds. The area gets its 'ski circus' name because the ski lifts are arranged so that you can ski around the valley like you’re in a circus ring.
With the Ski ALPIN CARD – the ticket alliance with the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See and the Kitzsteinhorn Kaprun – in addition to the extensive skiing area of the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, you can ski up to 408 km of pistes.
The Skicircus is great for families - all the Skicircus ski resorts have excellent ski schools, which include a designated children’s area and ski kindergarten.
