Chalet Killy is a clever and cosy mix of traditional chalet chic and super cool, modern Alpine abode. A short hop from the centre of Val d'Isere this four-bed chalet is more like a lovely small-scale boutique hote,l than a traditional ski bolthole.
The lounge, where exposed brick work sits alongside wood-cladding and contemporary oil paintings hang on the walls, is a great place to kick back post ski. In the light, airy dining room a chandelier of antlers hangs above the table - another artistic nod to mountain life.
No cool lodging is complete without the technology to match - WiFi, iPod docking station and Sky TV are all supplied.
The en-suite bedrooms are decked out with funky lighting, crisp cotton sheets and snuggly blankets. What's more, your nosh will be cooked by award winning chalet chefs. Very cool indeed.
