FAQ

How many days exactly does Snowflake ski?

In the winter of 2022-23, he spent 168 days skiing in the Engelberg-Titlis ski area, out of a possible total of more than 200. More skiing days were added after the ski area closed on multiple ski tours. This means that Snowflake is on his skis every second day of the year.

Why does Snowflake ride without safety equipment?

Engelberg-Titlis Tourism as well as the mountain railways recommend that all skiers wear a helmet and bring the appropriate equipment when freeriding. We therefore asked Snowflake why he refrains from using the modern safety options. Find his answer in the video below.

Where does the name "Snowflake" come from?

The name is based on his white outfit. Find out why he always wears white in the episode "This is Snowflake".

Are there any other videos with Snowflake?

DPS already produced a film about the Engelberg legend in 2016. Click here for the video.
